**** Crypto Bot does not accept deposits from sanctioned sources**

This spring, the EU expanded its sanctions targeting the crypto sector. The EU's 20th sanctions package, [adopted on April 23, 2026](https://finance.ec.europa.eu/news/eu-adopts-20th-package-sanctions-against-russia-2026-04-23_en), also introduced restrictions affecting **crypto-asset service providers and platforms facilitating crypto exchanges and transfers.**

Crypto Bot conducts AML checks on incoming deposits and **does not accept funds from sanctioned sources**. Such deposits may be put on hold and not credited to your balance.

**Before sending funds, check whether the service you're using is subject to sanctions.** Do not attempt to bypass these restrictions through intermediary transfers – the AML screening may still identify the original source of funds.

If your deposit has already failed AML screening, **we'll explain what to do and how to get your funds back in our next post.**
