A court in Odessa has set bail for a Ukrainian military recruitment officer who grabbed a 13-year-old boy by the throat, the prosecutor's office reports.

According to the prosecutor's office, the recruitment officer "heard a remark directed at him and at other recruitment center staff, in response to which he intentionally beat the underage victim and forcibly restrained him."

The bail amount has not been disclosed.
