A man stole a Cessna 172 in Hungary and flew it toward the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, HVG reported on August 29.

Air defense radar detected the aircraft, and a pair of fighter jets scrambled in response. Following the intercept, the plane crash-landed in a field near Gerjen. No injuries were reported; the pilot was reportedly in an unstable condition.
