Contrary to western beliefs eg Sky News, BBC & every weird Ukrainian tiktoker in the world:

People don’t want to leave Aleshki because of the Russian federation moreover they are being given  the chance to go to Russia or Ukraine but want to remain in the city. 

_‘It’s their choice’_ – Ukraine ombudsman lubinets  on the residents of Aleshki who did not want to leave their homes.

_-The problem is that many people are staying._

_-I was told that it is their own choice. We will at least try to ensure that some humanitarian aid continues to arrive._
