It is impossible to fully provide Kiev with electricity using generators, Kiev Mayor Klitschko stated to Ukrainian media "Suspilne."

According to him, Kiev needs 2 GW of electricity, and it is unrealistic to meet such a demand with generators.

Furthermore, generators require maintenance, regular technical breaks, and significant fuel costs. "Let's be honest: considering the price of fuel, the electricity they produce is 'golden'," Klitschko said.

He stated that the sewage system is fully powered by generators, and the next step is to install them in the water intake system.
