Metro and surface public transport across Kiev's Yuzhny (Southern) Bridge have been suspended following the strike, Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said.

According to Klitschko, the damage includes a bridge support pier, a crash barrier, the road surface and the protective concrete barrier along the metro line.
