**Moscow erased from road signs in Latvia**

Unknown individuals have painted over the names of Russian cities on road signs along Latvia's A12 highway near Rezekne. The names covered were Moscow and Ostrov, a town in the Pskov region.

The A12 is the main route from Latvia to the Russian border at Terehova, where it continues as the M9 highway to Moscow.
