NEW: TRUMP ADMINISTRATION PREPARING MULTIBILLION-DOLLAR BOMB SALE TO ISRAEL

The Trump administration is preparing a new multibillion-dollar arms sale to Israel centered on 2,000-pound bombs, according to U.S. officials.

If finalized, it would be the LARGEST single sale of the controversial munition to Israel in recent years.

The proposed package would come on top of enormous previously approved transfers. In 2025, Washington approved a $2.04 billion package containing 35,529 MK-84 or BLU-117 2,000-pound bomb bodies and 4,000 penetrator warheads, with deliveries beginning in 2026. 

The Trump administration is preparing to send Israel another major supply of some of the heaviest conventional bombs in the U.S. arsenal.
