Norway, Denmark and Sweden have refused to play Russia at the 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship in Germany, citing security concerns and the war in Ukraine. 

Finland has also declared it will not face Russia after a sports arbitration ruling overturned Russia’s 2022 exclusion.
