Reuters, citing sources within Yemen's Saudi-controlled puppet government, reports that Ansar Allah forces have reached the Hanish Islands in the Red Sea and are attacking pro-government positions there, immediately following their capture of the port city of Mocha.

Greater Hanish and Little Hanish islands sit directly in the middle of the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, so control of them would give Ansar Allah a powerful lever of pressure against Saudi Arabia and the US.

Ansar Allah representatives have not yet confirmed control of the islands.
