**Reuters quietly rewrites its Student List arms export story**

Yesterday, Reuters reported that the winning Student List's top candidates had pledged to end all arms exports from Serbia to war zones, including sales to Western intermediaries passing weapons to Ukraine. The claim was widely reported and picked up by outlets across Europe, including Irish public broadcaster RTÉ.

Reuters has now changed the line to say the exact opposite: the Student List's top candidates "had not said" whether a future government would end such exports.
