Russia’s Foreign Minister Lavrov:

We will not avoid engaging with those who abandon hostile intentions and seek an honest balance of interests.

But as polite people, we will not impose ourselves on anyone. And as people who respect themselves, we will not chase after anyone.

For now, however, there is no realistic prospect of dialogue with Europe.
