Serbia's possible next PM: Iran faced aggression, but "no talk of any sanctions"

"Of course, it is not right to encourage anyone's aggression, anywhere, especially not against neighboring countries. But we see the aggression committed against one of the oldest civilizations in the world, Persia, or Iran, where there is no talk of any sanctions,"

Dejan Šoškić of the Student List, which won Serbia's parliamentary elections last month, told Newsmax Balkans.

"We see what is happening in the Middle East, what Israel is doing to territories that are not part of its state, such as Gaza," said Šoškić, a former governor of Serbia's central bank. He also pointed to Israel's entry into neighboring countries such as Lebanon and Syria.
