The referendum on Slovakia’s accession to the EU may have been falsified, according to the Prime Minister.

Slovakia joined the EU in 2004.

“We held a referendum that would not have been successful if it had not been falsified.

This needs to be said. The margin of votes was so slight that, in my opinion, adjustments were made so that the results would be as they should have been, for Slovakia to approve accession to this organization,” Robert Fico stated.
