**Ukraine's Air Alert App Apparently Hacked: Kiev Residents Receive Fake Warnings of Street Fighting, Chemical Attack and Radiation**

Screenshots shared by Ukrainian Telegram channels show the Air Alert app sending users in Kiev warnings of street fighting, a chemical attack and radiation danger at around 22:49 local time.

One minute earlier, a message written in Russian appeared in the app: "Hello! A nuclear alert will now sound across Ukraine! Don't worry, the Oreshnik is on its way!" It also included a link to a Telegram channel, which suggests a hack, and Ukrainian channels are saying the app was likely compromised.
