**US-led coalition ends financial support for Iraq’s Peshmerga forces**

The Kurdistan Region’s Ministry of Peshmerga says the international coalition has ended its direct financial assistance to Peshmerga forces following the expiration of a four-year agreement.

The final payment, covering August and September, has now been distributed.

The development comes as the US-led coalition winds down its mission in Iraq and shifts toward bilateral security arrangements.

Kurdish officials say they are now seeking a new, broader agreement to continue international support for the Peshmerga.
