US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent draws a rather interesting Germany–Ukraine analogy:


> “How did Germany come back into the community of nations after World War II? There’s a certain path here. And there’s a path for Ukraine.”


Bessent was referring to Germany’s post-WWII rehabilitation while discussing a potential path for Ukraine.

So they’ll get leadership positions at NASA, NATO, and the CIA?
