Valentina Molodaya has told a court why she went to the Azov house near Kiev: a woman named Tatyana came to her saying a relative was being held there in serious condition.

Molodaya says Tatyana gave her all his medical documents. They showed that the man had been operated on at Kiev's Fifth Hospital and had a stoma, meaning his intestine comes out through his abdomen. She says he also had five other illnesses, so she went to save him.

A court is now also deciding on a pretrial measure for Tatyana.
