**Venezuela seriously weighing OPEC exit — Bloomberg**

Caracas has discussed the idea with US officials, though no final decision has been made yet, Bloomberg reports, citing sources familiar with the matter.

A Venezuelan exit could open the door to a bigger presence for foreign oil companies in the country — mainly American ones.

Venezuela was a founding member of OPEC over 60 years ago. If it goes through, it'd be the second exit from the group in months — the UAE left OPEC+ back in May.
