** Zelensky: "Our team is simply being used as a smokescreen"

Zelensky has stepped up his criticism of Donald Trump over the decision to lift sanctions on Russian diesel, calling it a weak move that will hand Vladimir Putin a great deal of money.

He pointed out that a Ukrainian negotiating delegation is in the United States right now, at the very moment Trump was settling the diesel question with Putin directly.

> "I believe our team is simply being used as a smokescreen, and that is definitely not fair, it is definitely not how partners behave, and in my view it is a weak decision, unfortunately, a weak decision by strong partners."
