Counter-Drone Focus at Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026- US M-LIDS in action

One of the standout technologies at Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026 is the US Army’s M-LIDS (Mobile Low, Slow, Small Unmanned Aircraft Integrated Defeat System) - a mobile counter-drone platform designed to detect, track and neutralize hostile UAVs.

Deployed in India for the first time, M-LIDS combines advanced radar, electronic warfare systems, sensors, a 30mm cannon and Coyote interceptors to counter emerging drone threats on the modern battlefield.
