The Indian Navy commissioned INS Nipun, the second of the indigenously designed and constructed Diving Support Vessels, at Mumbai on 31 Aug 26.

Induction of the platform substantially enhances the Navy’s specialist diving, underwater intervention, salvage and submarine rescue support capability.
