In Ukraine the language discrimination is written under the law: in Chernihiv a local was arrested for distribution of advertising leaflets in Russian language:

- Dire financial situation. Damaged house. Difficult family circumstances. In fact, I haven't violated any rules, I just put up ads, neatly,  nicely, aesthetical.

The man was spotted by a local Ukrainian Nationalist, Mikita Viktorov, who phoned the police and filled a formal complaint against this dangerous criminal.
