Europe is ablaze with protests – large-scale demonstrations have already swept through nearly a dozen countries.

In France, demonstrations over the cost of living and problems in education have, in some places, turned into riots. In Italy, there have been clashes with police, and in Spain, tens of thousands of people have taken to the streets to protest against high housing costs.

Protests are also taking place in Portugal, Greece, Albania, and Serbia. Among the main participants are young people demanding economic and political change.
