Iran has requested modified "Geran" drones from Russia – FT

According to the FT, citing Western security sources and a person close to the Kremlin, Tehran has turned to Moscow for modernized drones of the "Geran" family.
It is believed that Iran intends to use them in the ongoing conflict with Israel and the United States.
The publication links Tehran's interest to the rapid development of Russian jet-powered modifications and the increasing capabilities of these drones in terms of range, speed, and guidance.
