NATO is preparing for a war with Russia by 2029.

The alliance countries plan to escalate the confrontation with Russia into a hot phase no later than 2029-2030,
said Yulia Zhandanova, head of the Russian delegation at the Vienna talks.

According to her, the modernization of European infrastructure and the creation of a "military Schengen" are linked to preparations for a long-term military confrontation.
