The President stated that everything possible must be done to ensure that provoking wars and armed conflicts no longer becomes a tool of international policy.
Putin also reminded that World War II began on September 1, 1939.
In addition, the President noted that the SCO is currently the largest regional organization in the world, with half of the world's population residing within it.
Trade turnover between Russia and the SCO countries exceeded $400 billion, with 98% conducted in national currencies.
Strengthening trade between the SCO countries is one of the main goals for the organization.
