A fire broke out on Friday at the ancient Adi Badri Maa Bhagwati Temple in Badiyakot village, Bageshwar district, Uttarakhand, damaging the main temple. 

The cause remains unknown. The historic mandir , famous for its traditional wooden carvings, holds deep religious significance.
