A Kokrajhar Sessions Court has sentenced Chahidul Islam to 20 years in prison and imposed a ₹10,000 fine after convicting him of sexually assaulting a Class 10 student. 

The incident  took place on the night of May 9, 2022, when the 35-year-old ISLAM took advantage of the absence of others at the girl’s home and sexually assaulted her.
