A nuclear-capable Russian Tu-95MS strategic bomber crashed during a training flight in the far eastern Amur region. 

The Russian Defence Ministry confirmed that 6 crew members were killed and 1 was injured after the aircraft went down and burst into flames in an uninhabited area. 

Preliminary reports indicate the accident occurred shortly after takeoff following a sudden engine failure.
