A Special NIA Court in New Delhi has sentenced Thai businessman and international arms smuggler Willy Naruenartwanich (also known as Wuthikorn Naruenartwanich) to 6 years of rigorous imprisonment and imposed a fine of ₹5 lakh.

The sentencing concludes a significant phase of the NSCN (IM) Arms Procurement case, which was first registered by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in January 2010.
