BIG BREAKING: Election Commission freezes TMC’s party name and reserved symbol ahead of West Bengal bypolls.

Both factions — led by Mamata Banerjee and Ritabrata Banerjee — cannot use the TMC name or “Flowers & Grass” symbol for now.

Both sides must choose a new name and symbol from the EC’s free list for the October 6 bypolls.
