**Mamata Faction’s Nandigram Candidate Withdraws Nomination**

Trinamool Congress candidate Sanchita Pradhan Dey has withdrawn her nomination from the Nandigram bypoll, shortly _after meeting_ West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. 

She has not publicly stated the reason for her decision. The Nandigram and Rejinagar bypolls are scheduled for October 6, with counting on October 9.
