BIG: Rahul's attempt to Politicize Judiciary Rejected

CJI Surya Kant declines meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and other Opposition leaders, who sought an appointment on Monday to raise concerns over alleged electoral irregularities, SIR and police action against protesters.

The Opposition wanted the CJI to hear its propaganda like a political issue instead of approaching SC.

CJI has said the matter pertaining to which opposition MPs want to meet him is subjudice. And SC administratively doesn’t have the power to meet such political delegation.
