 Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman asked  Trump to strike  Iran-backed Houthis, but the U.S. president REJECTED the request, leaving Saudi Arabia disappointed.

After the US-Iran war, Iran now controls the Strait of Hormuz, while Ansarullah (Houthis) is taking control of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait. Together, Iran and Ansarullah now have influence over two major shipping routes in the region.
