BIG SETBACK FOR DONALD TARIFF

Democrat Annie Andrews has defeated Republican Darline Graham, backed by Trump, to capture South Carolina’s Senate seat in a major upset. 

The seat was vacated following Lindsey Graham’s death in July 2026. The defeat represents a setback for Trump and Republicans in a traditionally Republican state.

Lindsey Graham had championed legislation proposing 100% tariffs on countries buying Russian oil, including India.
