A VLCC carrying 2 million barrels of Saudi crude was struck on its port side in the Strait of Hormuz and caught fire, its captain told UKMTO. 

 Iran's IRGC Navy claims the supertanker hit a mine and exploded while exiting via an "_unauthorized route_."
