**Delhi Police have detained approximately 500 people arriving in various groups from different locations and around 50** individuals with criminal backgrounds in a massive security clampdown across the national capital. 

The preventive action was executed to block a massive, unauthorized demonstration organized by the CJP at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
