Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi presented Indian **CITIZENSHIP** certificates to 319 displaced Pakistani **HINDUS** during a ceremony at the Pramukh Swami Auditorium in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The certificates were granted under the **CAA**, which provides a pathway to Indian citizenship for persecuted religious minorities from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan who entered India on or before December 31, 2014. 

With this event, over 1,500 people in Gujarat have been granted citizenship under the Act so far.
