**BREAKING NEWS** 

 India’s Supreme Court on October 5 declined to suspend CEC Gyanesh Kumar on an interim basis over allegations that key ECI decisions were taken unilaterally.

 A three-judge bench led by _CJI Surya Kant_ issued notices to the Centre, ECI, CEC Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi.

 The respondents have one week to respond. The allegations remain under judicial consideration.
