 INS Sahyadri Arrives in Japan for Quad Naval Exercise Malabar 2026

The Indian Navy's indigenous stealth frigate INS Sahyadri has arrived at Yokosuka Port, Japan, to participate in the multilateral naval exercise Malabar 2026.

A ceremonial welcome was held in the presence of Vice Admiral Yagi Koji.

The exercise, scheduled for November 5–12, will bring together the navies of India, Japan, the United States and Australia, focusing on anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare and maritime interoperability.
