Breaking News:  Iran announces an agreement with Oman on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz, but says the waterway will fully reopen only if the United States fulfills its commitments under the MoU.

Iranian officials say the arrangement with Oman establishes a temporary shipping corridor, while Tehran continues to demand an end to the U.S. blockade and other commitments from Washington.

The Strait remains a major flashpoint as diplomatic efforts continue to restore normal commercial shipping.
