**SBI Confirms a data breach exposing the personal information of 3,897 customers on the dark web.**

According to reports, SBI began containment measures on October 16 after receiving cybersecurity alerts. 

An initial investigation identified nearly 3,900 authentic customer records among approximately 375,000 data rows circulated by a threat actor known as “Siriusim”

The exposed information reportedly includes personally identifiable customer data. 

The full extent and source of the breach remain under investigation.
