Saudi Arabia, is deviating from  Islam and reforming its school textbooks by removing extremist and antisemitic content, promoting more tolerant portrayals of Jews and Christians.

Saudi is also reducing anti Israel rhetoric, and eliminating material glorifying violent Jihad and Martyrdom (Shahadat). 

Textbooks also no longer describe Israel as an “enemy state,” while some maps have dropped the label “Piles-tine” over the entire area.
