**CBI Books Arunachal Activist Bhanu Tatak Over FCRA Allegations**

The CBI has registered a case against Arunachal Pradesh-based lawyer and environmental activist Bhanu Tatak for allegedly receiving over ₹17.6 lakh in foreign funds without mandatory FCRA approval.

 The agency claims the money supported protests against major hydropower projects. Tatak has denied wrongdoing, and the allegations remain under investigation.
