**China Opens Advanced Humanoid Robot Production Line

China has commissioned what XPeng describes as the world’s first automated production line for advanced humanoid robots. 

Its IRON robot reportedly walked off the assembly line autonomously, marking a shift from prototypes toward large-scale manufacturing. 

XPeng aims to begin mass production by the end of 2026, with commercial deliveries expected in 2027.
