**Coimbatore Girl Steals Gold to Buy Boyfriend a Bike**

A **19-year-old college student, R. Joy Princy**, was arrested in Coimbatore for allegedly stealing **nine sovereigns of gold** from her friend’s house. 

Police said she sold the jewellery for around **₹2.5 lakh** and used the money to buy a new bike for her boyfriend, **Janagan Siva, 20**. He remains absconding.
