DEFENCE MILESTONE

Noida-based defence startup IG Defence has successfully test-fired two solid rocket motors under its JWALA programme.

JWALA is an indigenously developed private-sector micro-missile system for hard-kill counter-drone operations, designed to engage UAVs at 2–5 km ranges and altitudes of 50 m to 5,000 m.

A significant step forward for India’s private defence and counter-UAS capabilities.
