Delhi: Thousands have gathered at Jantar Mantar today demanding reservation reforms, with protesters raising concerns over the misuse and expanding scope of reservation and the SC/ST Act.

From JP to Anna, India has witnessed mass movements on corruption. But this is a different kind of mobilisation, under the saffron flag, against perceived misuse of reservation laws.

Whether it ends reservation or not, the movement could force a serious debate and greater accountability over their scope and implementation.
