**Dubai launches its first-ever passenger train**

Dubai’s first passenger train service under Etihad Rail has begun operations, connecting Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah. 

The inaugural journey departed Al Yalayis Station at 6:14 am and reached Abu Dhabi at 7:18 am. The trains can travel at up to 200 kmph and carry 400 passengers.
